REMOTE-CONTROL
tomorrow’s technology today
reliable-stable-safe-cost efficient
evidence based
The shift to remote control technology and consequent reduction in problematic wear and tear components provides dentists a more reliable, stable, safe and cost-effective platform for work. With a simple light press or two on the wireless foot pedal controls, a variety of chair and unit functions including micromotor speed adjustments can be managed touch-free. The cordless F1 foot control can be easily and conveniently placed anywhere without cables getting in the way creating a high degree of efficiency and safety for patients and the dental team maneuvering within the operatory.
WorkSafe
Workplace Safety Recommendations
To address the tripping hazard caused by hazardous control cords in dental clinics, WorkSafe recommendations generally focus on both eliminating or minimizing the hazard and implementing controls to ensure safety. Where possible, switch to cordless or battery-operated equipment to eliminate cords entirely.

Remote-Control Treatment Units
Compact Design
ideal for areas with limited space
The dental treatment unit can be considered the centerpiece of dental clinics, it’s the focal point where most procedures are performed so having a high-quality, comfortable unit is important for both practitioners and patients. The compact nature of Fimet treatment systems means that patients may feel less overwhelmed by bulky equipment, leading to a less intimidating and more comfortable dental visit. A variety of chair and unit functions including micromotor speed settings can be managed touch-free from the cordless foot pedal embracing a high degree of hygiene, efficiency and safety. Fimet treatment systems occupy less space making them ideal for practices with limited room or those seeking to maximize the utility of their workspace. Innovative positioning of the DRILL module to the assistant’s side means that hygiene processing can commence without staff having to move from their side saving valuable clean-up time between patients. DRILLLS strategically positioned away from patients direct view creates a calming treatment room setting and provides more space for operator to place specialized equipment within easy reach. Cordless foot pedal and strategic positioning of the DRILL module away from the traffic area enables staff to maneuver freely and safely within the operatory obstruction free streamlining procedures. Ambidextrous conversion is simple and rapid.
Cleaning and preparing the dental office between patients can absorb valuable TIME. Finding a way to streamline the process can be challenging but very rewarding!

ERGONOMIC DENTISTRY
DELIVERY SYSTEMS ARE NOT ALL THE SAME
FIMET WHIP ARM
CUT AND CONTOUR WITH
EASE
PRECISION
AND
WITHOUT STRAIN
dentists work can be physically demanding involving detailed and precise procedures which often requires awkward postures for extended periods. Ergonomic design aims to enhance efficiency by streamlining workflow processes and minimizing unnecessary movements. This includes optimizing the layout of instruments, equipment and patient positioning to facilitate smooth and uninterrupted workflow, leading to improved precision, productivity and well-being. Free from the hassles of “pullback” and unnatural time-consuming motions required to unlock and lock devices every time the drill is used, the ergonomic counterbalancing and positioning features of the FIMET whip arm treatment systems are unique and unmatched in quality and performance. FIMET treatment systems stand as a paragon of precision manufacturing rewarding dental professionals with shorter treatment times, improved outcomes and reduced risk of strain and fatigue extending careers
Dr. R. Slattery
“The instruments need to be somewhere convenient so that you just move your hand to get them. This is the most ergonomic design and the least stressful for the dentist,” Dr Slattery explains. “If you have to change the focus of your eyes, [between looking at the patient’s mouth and finding the instruments] it is very tiring, especially when you see so many patients each day. With the F1 whip arm you know the instruments are always there laid out on the tray and are spring-loaded on the arm, so you pull them towards you. It is easy to use and the instruments are light weight in the hand. It really works very nicely and is positioned so the patients can’t see it. I was worried they’d be frightened by it but that’s not a problem.”

COMFORT & SUPPORT
multiple chair adjustments and soft memory foam upholstery provides absolute comfort and support to patients of all shapes and sizes
latest EMERGENCY STOP features
Fimet Arcus and Neo range of treatment units are made in Finland and certified under the the EU’s latest MDR product certification system which is recognized Worldwide for its high standards of safety, quality, and environmental sustainability. Rapid deactivation of chair movement and unit functions in medical emergencies and avoidance of unexpected equipment damage is a welcome feature of F1 treatment systems. In addition to the emergency STOP button located on the lower section of the chair, ceasing all functions rapidly can also be achieved by moving the backrest slightly forward or the suction arm slightly upwards. Should the emergency STOP features be inadvertently triggered, applying light downward pressure on the backrest or resetting all STOP features to original positions will automatically reset all functions instantly
QUIETER PATIENT EXPERIENCE
handpieces are truly a “workhorse” of the dental practice and electric handpieces are gaining popularity for good reasons – consistent speed and torque levels, precise margins, and a quieter experience for the patient are several key reasons for clinicians’ preference for electric handpieces. Additionally, the ability to alter a variety of speeds and settings for different clinical situations results in overall better performance and improved patient outcomes.
Improved Flexibility:
Flexible positioning allows for better adjustment of the unit’s components (like the chair, light, and instrument tray)
to suit different procedures and patient needs. This can help dentists and hygienists work more comfortably and efficiently.
Enhanced Ergonomics:
By adjusting the unit’s position, dental professionals can maintain better posture and reduce strain.
Ergonomic positioning helps minimize fatigue and allows for more precise work, which can be crucial during long or complex procedures.
Streamlined Workflow:
Flexibility in positioning helps accommodate various procedural needs and preferences. For instance, the ability to
easily adjust the chair and equipment for different types of procedures or to switch between patients quickly can keep the practice running smoothly and efficiently.
Patient Comfort:
Adjustable units can enhance patient comfort by positioning them in a way that suits their needs and the type of procedure
being performed. This can improve patient cooperation and satisfaction.
Optimal Use of Space:
Flexible positioning can help make the most of the available space in a dental operatory. This is particularly
important in smaller practices where maximizing space can contribute to better workflow and efficiency.
Adaptability for Different Procedures:
Some procedures may require specific angles or configurations of equipment. Flexible units can be adapted to these needs
Investing in the latest safety treatment unit for your practice can add significant value in various ways:
Attracting Patients:
Patients are increasingly informed about healthcare technology. Advertising that you use the latest safety treatment units can attract more patients who are looking for the best and safest care available.
Improved Efficiency:
Newer units often come with features that streamline procedures, making them faster and more efficient. This can increase the number of patients you can see, thereby boosting your practice’s productivity.
Enhanced Patient Safety:
Advanced safety treatment units are likely designed with the latest safety protocols and technology, ensuring a higher standard of care and reducing the risk of complications.
Compliance with Regulations:
Up-to-date equipment ensures you remain compliant with current health and safety regulations, avoiding potential legal issues and fines.
Staff Satisfaction:
Advanced equipment can make the job easier and safer for your staff, leading to higher job satisfaction and potentially reducing turnover.
Insurance Benefits:
Some insurance companies may offer lower premiums if you use state-of-the-art safety equipment, as it reduces the risk of accidents and claims.
Value Proposition:
Investing in the latest safety dental treatment units can enhance the value proposition of a dental practice, making it more appealing and valuable in the eyes of potential buyers.
